| well for the materials to build extra space of about 100cm x 100cm... timber, wire, flooring, nails.. etc etc, it cost a little over $200 i think. So this is worth it i think and they will be very happy. |

| I think it would be a pain in the bum to get into. For $100 at Bunnings you could build something so much better! |

Yeah I was wondering how easy it would be to clean out? and catch the piggies if they hid under the bedroom bit?
Lots of space though! _________________ - Dee -

oh dont worry im pretty small. I can get into the cage the piggies have now and its not as tall as this one.
When we built a square to attach it to the other cage we had, we bought long pieces of timber for the frame, cheap wire, and attached it all the way around, nails and plywood type stuff for the base and the back of the cage. It's 80cm x 80cm and it cost us around $200 plus a stressful weekend. |

I love the appearance of this particular style - it is adorable...HOWEVER.... one of my clients bought this style and says it is a total pain in the butt... she is a tiny girl and still finds it very annoying... she has since bought 2 plastic based hutches for their inside time and bad weather - just because she is forever trying to catch them...
Apparently there isnt really any entry points - one on the upstairs and one down stairs... she had to cut extra doors in as it was impossible trying to round them up. _________________ ~*~*~ ACS LAKES Shelter ~*~*~

| My first cage I built was 3m by 1m, wooden triangle frame with wire. Cost about $100 from bunnings. Mine was a grass cage so no need for a base. |
