Little girl is still with me...while she is still very quiet and not eating on her own, I did manage to give her some probiotics mixed with gastrolyte this morning and a few ml of CC (and she DIDN'T want it - kicked up a fuss). She isn't losing any more weight but she also isn't pooping...
Glad that Sam is a happy boy. He is a rather gorgeous fellow! _________________ -=[[ Lynlee ]]=-

Any change today with her?? just wondering how you are going with her when you are at work? i never thought to ask this when i was at your place as i could have kept an eye on her through out the day, and ffeed/water her though the day.
I was in such a rush that day due to that wedding thing I wish I could have stayed longer. _________________ ~ Eureka Cavies ACS Ballarat~ |

Hi Simone, thanks for checking and for the offer. Advantage is that I work at home most of the time. So I can keep feeding/watering her.
But today, she isn't good. She is getting progressively weaker and she rarely poops. Her poops are a strange shape too - long and spaghetti-like. I'm about to call the vet and see if they can do an xray...I'm worried she has some problem with her bowl/intestines...
Yeh, sorry you had to rush off - hope you weren't too late for your rehearsal! You are always welcome to come back anytime. _________________ -=[[ Lynlee ]]=-

She was from that free range lot we have yeah?? remember i took that little girl to the vet and she had to be put to sleep due to some intestine/bowl problem, maybe the same, if so having her put to sleep may be best as the vet said the older she got the worse it would get till she dies in a not so pleasent way, an x-ray will show it like it did for this little one. _________________ ~ Eureka Cavies ACS Ballarat~ |
